Danske Bank Women's Premiership leaders Linfield Ladies eased to a 7-0 victory against Cliftonville last night.

16-year-old winger Megan Bell scored twice at Solitude and was named player of the match.

The women's match was a curtain-raiser for the game between the men's teams from the clubs on Saturday.

Linfield ladies boss David Welshman and Bell are backing the Blues to win and clinch the league title.

Second-placed Newry City Ladies had a 5-1 victory away to Ballymena with a double for Brazilian forward Rayza Sousa.

Glentoran Belfast United stayed in touch with the top two by beating Crusaders Strikers 3-1 at the Oval.
