Limavady crowned Premier Intermediate champions

Limavady United clinched the Premier Intermediate title last night with a 1-0 win away to closest rivals Newry City.

The Roesiders are promoted to the second tier of Irish League football, the Championship.

Newry face a promotion-relegation play-off against Armagh City for a place in the Championship.

The Intermediate Cup Final between Limavady United and Linfield Swifts will be at Windsor Park on Tuesday 9 May. Kick off 7.45pm.
