Boxing fans crammed into a Belfast bar on Sunday night to give Nonito Donaire a send-off he would remember.

He lost to Carl Frampton at the SSE Arena on Saturday - meaning the Belfast man secured the the WBO Interim World Featherweight title.

The Filipino Flash and his wife Rachel spoke exclusively to Q Radio during the event at the Crown Bar.

They praised Frampton and also the fight fans in Northern Ireland.

Despite things not going his way, Donaire said it was a trip he will always remember...

Donaire had announced the impromptu event on social media earlier in the day...

Rachel Donaire told Q Radio they will never forget Belfast and they’ll be back!

The Ginnett family - with Northern Ireland and Filipino connections - had to be there to meet the Donaires!
