Glentoran star Joely Andrews was on target in Northern Ireland's 3-1 World Cup qualification defeat in Austria.

Andrews was one of seven Danske Bank Women's Premiership stars who were involved in the match.

Three goals in the space of nine minutes from the hosts ensured a damaging result for the qualification hopes of Kenny Shiels' side - who stay third in the group, behind leaders England and now three points off Austria.

Carina Wenninger, Nicole Billa and Barbara Dunst were all on target for the hosts just after the break - scoring past Jacqueline Burns, who has left Glentoran to join Swedish club Hacken.

Her former Glens teammates Chloe McCarron and Lauren Wade both started the game, alongside Crusaders defender Julie Nelson and Cliftonville duo Marissa Callaghan and Abbie Magee - who has joined the Reds from Linfield.

Reds star Kirsty McGuinness and Glentoran's Andrews were second half subs, with the latter scoring a late consolation goal for the visitors - with a low shot finding the corner of the net.

Northern Ireland must now regroup ahead of the visit of England to Belfast on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, we're at the business end of the men's Danske Bank Premiership:
