Coleraine remain five points clear at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership after beating Glentoran 3-0 at the Showgrounds on Saturday.

The Stripes have won 11 of their 12 league games and boss Oran Kearney believes his young team is getting stronger as the season goes on...

The Glens slipped to sixth in the standings and some away fans vented their frustration about recent form. 

But manager Gary Haveron says it's important to be patient with young players, as Kearney has proved at Coleraine...

Second-placed Glenavon had a 2-0 win away to Carrick.

Linfield beat Ards by the same score at Windsor Park.

Rory Donnelly hit a hat-trick in Cliftonville's 4-0 victory at Dungannon Swifts.

The former Swansea striker has returned to the Reds after being released by Gillingham and says he's beginning to find his feet...

In the other Saturday fixture it finished 3-3 between Ballymena and Warrenpoint. 

On Friday night, a brilliant double from second-half substitute Matthew Snoddy gave Crusaders a 2-0 home win against battling basement side Ballinamallard.

Snoddy was named man of the match to ensure he ended an emotional week on a high note.

The midfielder had gone public on his gambling addiction, being on the verge of taking his own life and then finding religion...

Meanwhile, Mallards manager Gavin Dykes, who recently considered quitting, has confirmed he's staying on for the relegation battle...
