A group of firefighters in Belfast have 'Braved the Shave' in aid of Macmillan Cancer. 

Thirty firemen from across the city have shaved their head to raise funds for the charity. 

They accepted the fundraising challenge in a show of support for their colleague.

Kenny McEwan from the Green Watch Whitla branch is currently undergoing cancer treatment. 

Eastern Area Commander Aidan Jennings says their a close-knit group:

The campaign has raised £2,537 for far.

Thirty people are diagnosed with cancer each day in Northern Ireland.
